The girls slept so deeply that night that they didn't notice their door being opened. And they didn't notice the shadowy man walking into their room.
But something in the girls' dreamns woke them and for only a moment they saw he man. But he vanished before they could say 'shadow'.

"huh? what was that?" she sat up and rubbed her eyes, stretching her arms above her head and yawning. "Hey Rye, Rye........Rye..." she threw a pillow at Rye's face "what was that?"

Rye looked at her watch but the time was missing. "Look, my watch is broken!" she said gloomily, showing her friend the watch.
"Bummer." she replied. "Well, what have we got first?" Adreanna asked.
"It's saturday..." Rye said.
"Oh yeah..."

"Unusually cold..." Rye spoke softly, it was as if she'd entered a freezer because a sudden chill entered the room, and they were left in darkness.
"Very funny..." Adreanna said, flicking the light switch, but nothing happened.
"Blackout?" Rye asked.
"Must be..." Adreanna said, pulling open the curtains. They both gasped at the darkness outside...
